Our gloves are produced and certified in accordance with the EN standards. Further we would like to provide you with information of classification of our products into categories and informations of making of products in accordance with the standards EN.

The standards

  • EN 420:2003+A1:2009 – Protective gloves, general requirements
  • EN 388:2016 – Protective gloves against mechanical risks
  • EN 407:2004 – Protective gloves against thermal risks (heat and/or flame)
  • EN 511:2006 – Protective gloves against cold
    • EN ISO 13997 – Determination of ressistance to cutting by sharp objects
  • EN 1149-5, EN – 61340-5-1 – Protective clothing – electrostatic properties
  • EN ISO 20743 – Antibacterial efect

Pictograms EN388:2016, EN407:2004 and EN511:2006

In order to simplify the illustration of individual features of gloves determined by the certification procedure a system of pictograms was created. These pictograms identify unambiguously the hazard against which the gloves in question shall protect.
The numbers stated below individual pictograms indicate at the same time the protection level in accordance with mentioned standards. For values the following is in force:

Protective level 1 = the minimum requirement, level 4-5 = the highest level.

Protection against mechanical risks EN388:2016:

Pos. 1 – Abrasion resistance (1-4)
Pos. 2 – Cut resistance (1-5)
Pos. 3 – Tear resistance (1-4)
Pos. 4 – Puncture resistance (1-4)
Pos. 5 – Cut resistance (A-F)

Protection against thermal risks EN407:2004:

Pos. 1 – Burning behaviour (1-4)
Pos. 2 – Contact heat (1-4)
Pos. 3 – Convective heat (1-4)
Pos. 4 – Radiant heat (1-4)
Pos. 5 – Small splashes of molten metal (1-4)
Pos. 6 – Large quantities of molten metal (1-4)

Protection against cold EN511:2006:

Pos. 1 – Convective cold (0-4)
Pos. 2 – Contact cold (0-4)
Pos. 3 – Waterproofness (0-1)

The letter X instead of the figure means, the gloves were not tested in relation to the relevant hazard.
